Introduction

Orthodontic treatment is available to patients of all ages. In accordance with the American Association of Orthodontists, we recommend that children have their first orthodontic evaluation by the age of 7. With early evaluation and diagnosis, it is possible to identify functional and skeletal disharmonies and, where appropriate, an orthodontic or orthopedic appliance can be prescribed. Such intervention is often critical in correcting major jaw discrepancies and reducing the chances of more complex procedures later in adolescence. There is, of course, no age limit for orthodontic treatment. As such, our office accommodates all orthodontic patients.
